Walk Away

The answer is out there. It has to be. For Justin Bennett, it wasn’t in the halls of Eastern Washington University. Or the nightclubs, huddled grey and cold under a canopy of city lights. A glowing nectar of neon and billboards. A lure for the forlorn. Their mouths sewn shut, eyes thirsting for answers. He meets their gaze. For a moment, a glimmer of hope. But he can’t help them. Not yet.
