There are a lot of distractions on the road to becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ. This song is about having an ultimate passion for our Savior--a passion that keeps us from getting lulled into apathy by all the comforts, conveniences, and prestige tugging at us daily.
This song was written for our church's worship services when we were studying the gospel of Mark, and we still use it regularly in worship.
