9-11-01: The news on every TV channel, every radio station, repeats the same terrible, horrible, sad, mind-altering, unbelievable information, the same pictures, the same videos. Caught in history, there is no escape. A time of uncertainty unfolds and enfolds us. I cry for hours, then I am numbed.
