Melissa Cameron

Melissa is an arriving artist who has been working through the emotions love and desire. Born and raised in Vancouver, BC Melissa often draws from early experience, which cover performances with her grandfather, Joani Taylor and wordPEOPLE to shape her ever-evolving sound. The move to Toronto has taken her desire in wanting to share her music to new heights. She is currently putting the final touches on her debut solo EP, a collection of songs selected from works with producer Adam King, Dennis Passley, Nate Kreiswirth and Ben Nudds. Melissa has her sights firmly set on making an impression in 2011 with not only the release of her aforementioned EP, but also with the follow up to People’s Eatery recorded with wordPEOPLE the band she continues to front.
