Polar Eye

Born in Boston during spring of 2010, Polar Eye have released two EP's. Their first EP, entitled 19th Sunrise, is a mesh of rock and pop, in a style hardly identifiable with today's generic rock/pop idiom. Produced in a basement, this EP is a raw look at what the Polar Eye started with - and it garnered them a great following and many shows as a result. Shortly after, the band began writing its second EP, entitled Hotel Velow. With the help of Kickstarter.com, Polar Eye was able to raise $2000 for their studio endeavors. This effort brought them to the renowned studio of Scott Riebling, producer and cohort of such bands as Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, and the Von Bondies. Here, Polar Eye was let loose into an array of amazing equipment and recording environments. Currently, the band has relocated to Asheville, NC, to pursue further distinction.
