Competitions and Opportunities for May 2010
Lilith Local Talent Search Competition
Since it's inception, Lilith Fair has provided a stage solely for female solo-artists and female-fronted bands in order to celebrate music made by women. This year Lilith will give aspiring female artists the opportunity to perform a set at the Lilith 2010 tour.
Winners will be selected from the Top Twenty rankings in each Lilith "Local Talent Search" music channel. Thirty-Five (35) Winners will receive:
- A opportunity to perform a full set (up to 30 minutes and no more than 45 minutes) on the Village Stage during the Lilith 2010 tour.
- Winner will receive a $500 honorarium for travel, and four tickets to the Lilith Tour stop entrant is performing on.
Artists can only submit one Radio-friendly song into the competition and must be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry. One artist or band member must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada.
Eligible artists must be a solo female singer-songwriter or a band with a female fronted lead singer.
