Biography
1221 (pronounced twelve twenty one) is a group including emcee/lyricist Jersey, and DJ/Producer Ben Bounce. Since meeting at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona in 2002 they have been on a quest to bring back the old school feel of DJ and MC collaboration. With Jersey’s engaging poetic style along with Ben Bounce’s devotion to horns, snares and vocals the blend of beats to lyrics can not be touched.
