3 Noodle Stew is a bad-ass Jam-Rock Band From New Jersey. They are known for combing a twisted sense of humor with story-telling lyrics and unexpectedly creative musical directions. They have been writing, recording, and performing spectacularly underattended shows since 1997.
From an idea borne in the cold, late fall days of 1997 in Riverside, NJ, 3 Noodle Stew emerged as the collective talent of The Chooch (Bass/Vocals,) Jeff Stoltz (Keyboard/Vocals,) Dan Jacoby (Guitar,) and drummer Phattq (the 'Q' is silent, duh!) These "Noodles" put their heads together to come up with extended improvised jams (along the lines of Phish or the Grateful Dead) and songs that capture the spirit of Steely Dan-meets-Sinatra-meets-Hendrix.
In November 2009 they released the full-length album "Blueprint Blues" on CD and to all major download services. They are currently promoting the album with shows in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Planning for a new album is already in the works, with 3NS looking to head back to the studio in 2010 with all new material for their next release.
