His efforts as half of Gangstarr and his Jazzmatazz recordings made a lasting impression on hip hop’s formative years, and he is respected worldwide for his contributions to the culture via his unflappable, calm delivery of rhymes which emphasize self-knowledge, respect, and street credibility.
