A Common Kind is a Southern California based band focused on creating music that expresses six diverse experiences and backgrounds through one unified sound. Established in the spring of 2009, ACK is comprised of vocalist Deanna Shiley, guitarist James Racela, violinist Mathias Chaidez, keyboardist Jenny Le, percussionist Will Kroschel, and bassist Andrew Mauzey.
