A graduate from Howard University, A-DON had to survive on his own due to the fact that his mother and grandparents had passed away by the time he was 19. Always a poet, he took the open mic poetry scene by storm in the mid '90s, then focused on rap music as a medium to release his messages to his target audience, reflecting intense street smarts and a man who "listens to what his soul speaks."Member and founder of HERON LLC, (formally PMM/Moshi-beti) a music production and publishing company based in Washington D.C., A-DON, was educated by the streets of SE D.C., but also in the traditional sense.
