I reside in Brooklyn, New York. I am interested in film, photography, poetry, and music.
My music is, for the most part, electronic. I enjoy dance music such as big-beat, house, and fidget.
One of my favorite artists is Fatboy Slim. His music introduced me into the cool, fun (and somewhat underrated) world of electronica.
His music also lead me to make some songs of my own. Using Sony's Acid Pro Software, I made a bunch of original songs such as the ones posted here ("A New Beginning" and "Breakin' It Down"), and more that will be posted soon.
In addition, I have been using the software Virtual DJ as a tool to practice mixing. I'm not quite an expert yet, but I'm getting there. I usually practice by creating various sets of music mixes. I've posted some on the message boards of normancook.info, which have received good feedback from fellow listeners. Soon, I will upload my mixes here as well.
I hope everyone here enjoys what I have to offer. If you are going to listen to my songs/mixes, make sure you leave a comment. I find feedback an important tool that will help me improve.
