A young, rising blues star, Alex is quickly being discovered by clubs, festivals and audiences nationwide. Inspired by the greats from Blind Willie Johnson to Keb Mo, he is finding his style of blues, mixing the traditional genre with elements of soul, roots and R&B. His raspy, soulful vocals reflect an unusual depth of understanding, reminiscent of a young Otis Redding or Ray Charles. In between gigs, Alex studies as a guitar performance major at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
