Allen is a Singer Songwriter, Sound Production Engineer and the owner of Luxapalila Records / Allen Delk Productions. His career expands over 20 years with production credits in theatre and musical entertainment acts from the United States and many foreign countries, also entertaining as a singer songwriter himself with acts in gospel,country, folk, bluegrass and Southern rock music. Allen has produced technical production for legendary entertainers and acts including, Jerry Clower, George "Goober" Lindsay, Anthony Herrera, Jeremy Lawrence, Second City Improve of New York, The Ware Patterson Duo, Omni Foundation of Los Angeles, Britt Gulley as Jimmie's Back! of The Jimmie Rodgers Foundation, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Ian Tyson, Cowboy Poet Waddie Mitchell, Harley Allen, Mississippi Blind Morris, Paul Thorn, The Winters Brothers, Mindy Smith, Carl Jackson, Larry Cordle, Jerry Salley,Bradley Walker, Malcolm Holcombe , The Luxapalila Band of Brothers ® aka the L Bob's, George McCorkle of The Marshal Tucker Band and many many more.last count was around 4000 live production credits give or take a few 100. Allen's roots are planted firmly in the help and promotion of events in his home state of Mississippi, continuing in the building of the legacy of entertainment artist that have made, or are making an impact on the music industry of yesterday and today. He donates his time performing his craft of songwriting annually with The Jimmie Rodgers Festival in Meridian, Mississippi. Allen is a founding member of the entertainment Committee for the annual Market Street Festival in Columbus, Mississippi now a top 20 southeastern event, He also is a committee member and technical producer for the annual "Tennessee Williams Tribute and Tour of Victorian Homes and committee member for the annual Johnny Cash Flower Pickin Festival in Starkville,Ms. Recently, Allen has produced two documentary segments for the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame film "The Birthplace of America's Music". The first on himself as an up and coming Mississippi Singer Songwriter and another on the Howlin.. Wolf Museum in West Point, Mississippi. Along with a unique opportunity to perform his songs for the Smithsonian Institute during the 2007 Jimmie Rodgers festival of events hosted by the MSU Riley Center in Meridian, Mississippi. After a seven year stint as Artistic Director of the Historical Princess Theatre in Columbus, Mississippi. Allen moved to Nashville to pursue more knowledge of the songwriting industry and became the manager of one of Nashville's newest listening rooms at the time in 1997, Bellevue Station. Allen promoted hundreds of singer songwriters events with Owner Donnie Winters, son of the late Don Winters of the Marty Robbins Band. Allen is back home in Mississippi now continuing to produce and write in his studio where he spends most of his time these days. His Songwriting, Singing and Production ability comes from years of learning and observing threw close friendships with very talented people in Gospel, Bluegrass, Country, folk, Classic Rock and Southern Rock music.
