Almighty= Great, Superior, God-like Renegade= those who walk life with reckless ambition Zay Rhymes, Kony Brooks, and Amazin have all of these traits. These highly respected and feared emcees are the Almighty Renegades. Their dominant and fierce presence on the mic and relentless flow over instrumentals deems them to be sicker then your average rapper. Since 6th grade Zay and Kony have been rapping together. Zay was the original "Renegade" due to his reckless attitude and powerful delivery. Kony was known to be a strong battle emcee who had bars for days. So together they became the Almighty Renegades. the duo from the Bronx, New York began writing an album shortly after forming. The third member of the Almighty Renegades, Amazin, came into the picture after recording various songs and freestyles seperately with Kony and Zay. With hardcore rhymes and a Harlem World swag, she fit right in with the Bronx duo. Henceforth, the "Dynamic Duo" had transformed into a "Treachorous Trio". The Almighty Renegades have gone on to do many performances, and have acquired fame in and out of their own neighborhoods. They performed in "The Scream Ent" annual summer block party two years in a row. They've also participated in an underground hip hop showcase called "Da Buzz" on 44th street in the Producers Club. The Renegades have made numerous visits and Performances at "The Nuyorican Poet's Cafe.." in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan. The cafe.. became home for the Renegades just as it is the home venue for their mentor Jive Poetic, a well known and exceptional poet. The Almighty Renegades completed and dropped their first mixtape ,"NY Takeover", in March of 2009. They've begun working on the release of their album "In Reason We Doubt". Under the careful and watchful eye of Jive Poetic, the Almighty Renegades have set out on their path to reach eternal glory. In their never ending quest to find the respect deserved by these vocally influebtial and lyrically powered emcees, the game sets its eyes on a new horizon. Being influenced by the great and gallant legacies of those such as The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, and Jay-Z, the squad of young teens turning young adults as they take the stage. The 3 have begun their invasion with not only determination and an arsenal of serious wordplay, but also an undying and immeasurable love of music. These are the Almighty Renegades.
