Her years and experience of performing, teaching & soul searching all led her to the mystical love poetry of Rumi & Hafiz, 13 & 14th Century Sufi poets. “The Doorway” is a coming together of the many genres and influences that have colored Anna’s life thus far. “Keep walking though there’s no place to get to…” Rumi Together with producer Tomas Brabec of Octavo Productions, who has such artists as Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson to his roster, Anna set out to adapt this ancient poetry to her own original music to create a symphonic pop masterpiece. “Mystery’s are not meant to be solved the eye goes blind when we only want to see why” Rumi THE DOORWAY The wisdom of these ancient poets has been steeping inside of Anna for 3 years leading her through many doorways in the creation of this CD. It is Anna’s intention to bring Rumi and Hafiz to the 21st Century from the spoken to the sung, from the east to the west. “Little by little you will turn into God” Hafiz About Anna: Her performances have taken her throughout the world and to share the stage with such artists as Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Luba, Tom Cochrane, The Sultan of Brunei (long story!) and Alfie Zappacosta. Her journey has also taken her into the inner realms of where the truth inside her lives, the most important journey of all.
