CD "Magellan" is made up of
environmental-instrumental music, the first of its kind in Serbia. The goal of the Magellan project is a multi-media approach to music performance presented by musicians, actors and ballet dancers. This original approach has attracted the attention of some Belgrade theatre directors who would like to include it in their regular monthly repertoire. Stage movement is supported by twenty actors whose role is to conjure up that particular period (beginning of the XVI century) and the atmosphere in Spain immediately after the death of the Queen Isabel I. The story follows the adventures of the crew that took off for unknown territories, and illustrate the miracles and mystical events that occurred during this unusual journey.
CD “MAGELLAN” by ANTANAS is an electronic / ambient /experimental / space /chillout music.
ANTANAS had previous music experience playing the drums on diverse music projects in band “PILOTI” (1980/82) and as a music producer before 1985. But a couple of years later, he discovered the electronic ambient space scene and he rapidly gained interest to learn the ways to produce this style of music.
