My name is Ashley Joelle Jordan and I'm a singer songwriter from a small town in Massachusetts. I am 17 years old and I've been performing anywhere and everywhere for the last few years. I've had some exciting successes with my music career in 2009, including winning second place in the Teen Idol Contest for Central Massachusetts and opening for singer-songwriter Jess Klein for Bull Run Entertainment. I've played at local restaurants, fairs, festivals, coffeehouses and open mics and I never turn down any opportunities that come my way! I am writing music every day and I will be recording all my original songs in the next month. My style of music would probably be best described as acoustic-contemporary-pop. I am inspired by such artists as James Taylor, Regina Spektor, Michelle Branch, Taylor Swift, and a local (incredible!) artist from Boston who is my teacher and mentor: John Gerard!
