At Dreams End is an experimental post-industrial band out of Idaho Falls, ID. With only two fulltime members, the duo attacks writing full band compositions from an electronic producers standpoint, combining all of their many talents and styles to create a cohesive song that rips faces off, but makes you wanna dance at the same time. Jade Davis is native to East Idaho, and has a long history touring with bands, including stints with Nu-Metal band Out Of Fokus(Pocatello, ID), Post-Hardcore act Death in December(Pocatello, ID) and rock bands Valentine(Las Vegas, NV) and Her Alibye(Los Angeles, CA). All four bands could be seen at Warped Tour on the Ernie Ball Stage, Kevin Says Stage, or the East Coast Indie Stage. Dirty is originally from Great Falls, MT, where he was a local folk musician, starting careers with fellow folk acts David August and 2006 Gibson Guitars New Artist of the Year Marshall McLean (with whom he recorded a split with in 2002). He recorded a full-length album in the end of 2004, but due to lack of funds, it has yet to be released. In late 2007 Dirty and Jade met at work and realized they had very similar tastes in music, but still came from very polar extremes when it came to musical backgrounds. They started jamming together a little, but it wasn't long until Jade heard Dirty sing "Walking in Memphis" at a smokey karaoke bar/shitty dance club. As they walked back to the car Jade put it simply and to the point... "Dude, you're singing for me...period." And what was once just a solo project for Jade, soon became a two-piece with the goal to create something completely new, and using every tool from their musical backgrounds to do so. Together they have been able to create a sound and style that is completely different from anything their musical backgrounds would imply, yet at the same time using those very backgrounds to design something completely independent unto itself. It's industrial, it's dance, it's post-hardcore, it's acoustic... it's just... At Dreams End.
