It was 1985... Listening to the songs being played by the Electrifying Mojo. Pledging up the linoleum getting ready tp bust some moves to Tour De France, Cosmic Car, Planet Rock without ever knowing the influence these songs would have later in life.1989 arrives and so does the start of my club days .At the time I was into heavy industrial but I remember being blown away hearing Blow your house down by A Guy Called Gerald and Technarchy by Cybersonic. These songs had the aggression and grit I loved but they were so much more dancey, I was hooked. The beats, the sounds from all these years of early electronic music subconsciously making their way into the music being made today. That music today is Bahbiss Cobb. Bahbiss Cobb is the sole project of Eric Curry. I have been doing electronic music for around 12 years, and although the styles have changed and progressed the focus has always remained the same, to make quality music for the body and mind. The styles of Bahbiss Cobb jump around a lot covering many genres of electronic music. Bahbiss Cobb came about almost by mistake. I was writing stuff for the more aggressive project at the time and had written a couple of songs that didnt fit the mold and discovered that I enjoyed writing these kind of songs better. Hence came Bahbiss Cobb. Besides Bahbiss Cobb I have had the privilege of producing and remixing many local acts. Remix credits: Heavy Water Factory, Randolphs Grin, Crash 00, Powertrain and The Twlight Babies. Production Credits: Mercury Sparrow, Red 13, Sucka, Mortem Report, Crucifixation. I have also had the privilege of serving as live drummer for Heavy Water Factory on their 1997 tour which highlights included playing with The Sisters of Mercy, playing the CMJ music festival and playing CBGBS.
