Bandana-short for Bandana the Great- was born 3am April 9th 1987 in Brooklyns Brookdale Hospital. His parents being natives of Long Island NY raised the young lyrist to be in Hempstead, LI. Bandana-short for Bandana the Great- was born 3am April 9th 1987 in Brooklyns Brookdale Hospital. His parents being natives of Long Island NY raised the young lyrist to be in Hempstead, LI. As a child Bandana always took a liking to music being influenced by some of the greatest rappers of all time 2Pac, Biggie & Slick Rick. He also played the bass guitar and the drums in his grade school band. Bandana always had the gift of being a great story teller. In middle school he wrote a short story that was selected to be entered into a state competition. Although he was a great writer his passion was music. Bandana knew that perusing a career in the music business was his life’s purpose. The youngest of four children Bandana since the age of 16 has put out 5 solo mix tapes. Investing in his music form his own “Stash” Bandana started $ta$h Boxx Entertainment in 2008. Meeting a lot of adversity from local completion and in his words “Haters” Bandana made a name for his self in the New York City underground Rap Freestyle Battle scene. There he meet and worked with the rap groups The Eastside Taliban, Hood Fellaz & The Hit Mobb Goonz. Bandana loves working with talented people, but his desire to be a solo artist precedes him. Bandana currently has his own radio show airing on 90.3FM Called the “Bandana Bashin Show” with Darnell Morris aka King of The Underground. He also performs at a variety of Long Island College clubs weekly. His buzz grows everyday he said “ima work hard till I can’t work hard no more” and I believe he will make an impact in today’s music industry. With the release of his up and coming project -Mixed Emotions Part 2-in July 2010, Bandanas music will be booming out of speakers all summer long. He collaborated with artist from the indie label Blak Asylum Records as well as others. Keep an eye out Bandana The Great is soon to become a household name Bandana The Great History in The Making..
