Beat Invasion started in May 2011. They started when Darragh began writing songs and the decided to perform the songs together. They have 1 song written and the lyrics for 3 others written. They first met in 2007 when Rob went to a new foster home which Darragh used to go to and still goes for a visit every 2 week (But he is not still in foster care. He just visits). Although in their song 'Don't Turn Away' Darragh sings some of the verses. Their songs are about having tough lives as Rob had lived. Darragh writes the songs about his friend's life as he knows. They are currently trying to get said friend to join Beat Invasion. They joined this site to try and get somewhere with their lives.
