Between Fate has been compared to the likes of 311, Alice In Chains, Audioslave, Breaking Benjamin, Foo Fighters, and Muse, among others. Between Fate was born on a sunny day in March 2010 in Arvada, Colorado. Drummer Shawn Duncan and guitarist Greg Galvan began writing some music and looking for other talent to join the Between Fate family. Within a few weeks, Eric Smith joined Between Fate as the lead vocalist and began writing lyrics to the music already written. The Between Fate family (and rhythm section) was complete with the addition of bassist Ben Kirch in the summer of 2010. Between Fate has since played several gigs in the Denver Metro Area and recorded its first EP in November 2010.
