Bianca Monica wants you to know one thing…Beyond all the pretentious over the top hype. Beyond the flooded industry of today’s one hit wonders and TV drama queens, there’s one thing that defines you as an artist…The ability to write, perform and engage a crowd without the multi-million dollar light show, pre-recorded vocal tracks, and cosmetic company endorsements… although a killer light show would be pretty cool. So here it is plain and simple…Bianca Monica is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter with the ability, the charisma, and the passion of someone ready for success in this modern crazy industry. Bianca loves everything about being a singer, and she does it so well that she was given the opportunity to sing the national anthem for the NY Mets at Shea Stadium and Citi Field at just 15. That same year, Bianca got a strong taste of what the metropolitan music scene was like, sweating it out in several indie rock acts before deciding to head out on her own in 2010. Recently she joined forces with co-writer and producer Danny Roselle, lead singer of the NYC rock group, The Crash Moderns to collaborate on what would become the exciting first EP which has a pending release date of spring 2010. Recorded and mixed at Near Studios in Long Branch, NJ, the EP was produced by Roselle and co-produced and mixed by Bart Schoudel and Ron Haney, best known for their work with Alicia Keys, Ludacris, The Ruling Party and The Churchills. Musically, Bianca is truly melding a generation gap, taking all that’s great and exciting about today’s Power Pop Rock world and combining it with some of the best of her influences and memories… “In one of my previous bands my guitarist was basically stuck in the 80’s. We used to bust him about it but he got me into that era where the most incredible artists emerged from … bands like The Missing Persons, Pat Benatar, Blondie, and Kim Wilde are huge influences and I think people can hear that flare in my music…”
