I was born in Oklahoma but i was raised in Florida.I started to listen to different types of artists such as Bob Marley,Michael Jackson,Pimp c(rip),Bun B,Outkast,Warren G,SPM, Devin the Dude,Snoop Dog,Trick Daddy, E-40 and more. That's when i realized music is what i wanted to pursue. They influenced me in such a way that music became my life. It became my soul and in a way it became my identity. My name is Shanton Hendreson AKA Unique. I was born in Oklahoma but i was raised in Florida.I started to listen to different types of artists such as Bob Marley,Michael Jackson,Pimp c(rip),Bun B,Outkast,Warren G,SPM, Devin the Dude,Snoop Dog,Trick Daddy, E-40 and more. That's when i realized music is what i wanted to pursue. They influenced me in such a way that music became my life. It became my soul and in a way it became my identity. I wanted to be an artist and that's were my journey begins. Not only did great artists like the ones listed influence me but so did my cousin Lee and my brother Jabbor. The very first group i was in was known as CTC(click tight click) The group consisted of four group members. Lee,Q.T,Pedro,and myself. We made our first album. The songs were based on every day situations. It had a mix of both soul and gangsta. The group only lasted about two years.This was all happening in my home town Oklahoma. The group was eventually forced to split up.There for, I decided to hit the road to Florida. There was nothing holding me back so i figured why not. When i got there i realized what i wanted wasn't there for me. I had to hit the road again. This time i didn't go to Oklahoma instead I went west to the C.O. Denver opened up new opportunity's for me. While I was there I ran into a guy named Sean White aka BIG.He happened to be a singer and his brother Twist was a rapper. It was all to perfect. We formed a group known as MWF(Mid West Family)and about a year later we completed our first album. Then we got to compete in the rap wars were we placed second place. While we were there we met a guy named Mark Sparks. He opened new doors for us. Or so we thought. He shot our very first video. We picked the song every day people. We thought he was the beginning to something new and better but later realized it wasn't what it seemed.We decided to move on. The group was getting rocky so i needed to get away and clear my thoughts. I stayed in Florida for a while and then i headed back to the CO. When i got back nothing was the same. Our group kinda fell out but I refused to give up. Twisted ended up leaving the group but that didn't stop me or Big. It was up to us and i was determined to make it work. Within 6 months Big and me made our second album. It was called Big and Unique presenting Totally Nude. While finishing our last few touches to our second album, I ran into a guy named Nick. It was a good thing for us. He was able to get us a photo shoot for our new album. Not only that, we got to promote a new energy drink called DNA and finally we got the opportunity to do the soundtrack for an up coming movie called Blacktacular. Now were just waiting for our album to come out and hit the stores. It was a long road to get to were I am now but it was all worth it. I know this is only the beginning of everything ahead. I believe i can do anything i want if i really want it. I just stay positive and opened minded. I really believe that's why all these great opportunity's are presented to me. They said "your an artist", come to find out they were right! BIGNLOW Born August 6, 1977 in Colo. Springs. Colo. To Kimberly C. Harvey A single mother at the time sheltered him and raised him to be a true gentleman and not a abusing heart breaker like his biological father who would only be a factor in Bignlows life as a biological father who had tr-ates in music with a hard rhythm and blues feel. After three years and his mother falling in love with the man he grew to know as his father Gary Evans moved Bignlow and his mother to Big Springs TX. and although they were not true family members Bignlow was never to feel out of place. Once a job offer was presented Bignlows family now with two siblings Timothy Evans and Dorthy Evans moved to Denver Colo where the musical journey would be gain by how easy it was for him to pick up songs and be able to sing them word for word to his mothers company during those old school house parties. After feeling such a response from older people he be gain to show more of his musical talents at school. With that ice broken he be gain to be interested in talent shows and on the block cyphers with a couple of friends. Although he was known for singing to a few he was not yet open to performing music until Swift Fa Show Shot aka Omar took him under his wing and be gain having him sing hooks for him over a period of time Bignlow was building his carector and finding the inter MC. after a while he be gain to seek more responsibility and write his own material witch was often a poem at first. When in the late 90s he be Friend one D note AKA Dewayne Marcus a very talented singer out of NY and they be gain to write and do material together. Then running into a producer by the name of Hectic AKA Clarence Burdine they interred a group agreement called THC Total hectic creation after numerous shows and street credit though the group grew apart and Bignlow then in bark on a solo career, After his first self titled album Wake Up money wows and missing his children Bignlow reached a new height with a new idea a song named UGLY he be gain to raise his street credit once he meet Unique. After forming a group founded by brother known as Twystyt The Midwest Family they Three did shows and competitions blowing away competitors. Just as previous the group be gain to separate but Bignlow and Uniques strong sense that what they had together was so strong they be gain there own adventure together becoming Bignlow and Uniqe with the combination of past music history a clever gent name Nickolas Chavez Begin to back them financially and after only 4 months of recording Bignlow and Unique Present The Totally nude LP
