Bless enjoyed a typical urban childhood. The product of a single parent
home, he is the last of four boys and like his older brothers, Bless was
beckoned to the street like the call of the wild and like delved deep
into the dark and dangerous depths of hustleville and all that the fast
life meant as a youth. Brownsville's terrain of turmoil and terror was

combat techniques. After his eldest brother fell on the frontline, a
casualty of urban warfare, a vacancy was left in the ranks... At target
practice in the park, on back staircases, and rounding off in the
square, Bless's lyrical assault was met with the same reaction; "yo you
nice, you mad talented, you blesses; and so emerged his battle-tag! .
