We are Block Funksion, a Baltimore, MD based original music quartet heavily rooted in blues, rock, funk, and fusion (thus the name). Consisting of Tony Santesse (Guitar/vocals), Mark Adams (Guitar/Vocals), Benny Cellitto (Drums), and Ian Poulin (Bass), our goal as a band is to continue to produce music that satisfies us and makes our insanely dedicated fans shake their asses uncontrollably. We have played most all of Baltimore's finest venues (as well as the less refined) and have earned a reputation as an excellent live band who's work and dedication to our craft shines through in our ever evolving stage shows and endless catalog of original music. We currently have one studio CD in the can awaiting final production, and enough material for at least three more albums to follow soon after. It is our hope that continued gigging and local promotions (such as our upcoming appearance on Baltimore radio's Noise In The Basement feature on 98 Rock (97.9 FM, or www.98online.com) on 5/11/09 will lead to some label attention and opportunities to gig across the country.
