Bossy Business has been privileged to so much music history. With her family's music history starting in the early 1950's with Bossy's dear Aunt Lucy Johnson aka Debbie Andrews (which was her stage name) who sang with the best of them. From Billie Holiday admiring the vocals of Bossy's aunt Debbie Andrews to Sir Duke himself(Duke Ellington), and then onto doing her own thing, Aunt "Debbie" was the best of the best. Following in her footsteps was Bossy's uncle Robert "Sonny" Johnson, one of the greatest drummers in the history of Jazz music. He had no time for "non-sense" as he called it! Music was his life and he band-aided himself to Jazz and to the drums where he prospered...never swaying to the left or right, he stayed true to Jazz. A musical legend, in his own right, Uncle Sonny, worked with the best of our time...Quincy Jones, Wes Montgomery (hence The Johnson Montgomery Quintet), also Lionel Hampton, just to name a few. Boy does this bring back memories of Bossy's grandmother Eleanor G. Johnson in Indianapolis, Indiana, telling her the stories of our music legends as a child. Uncle "Sonny" as he was known happened to be one of those silent legends. Well, all I have to say for Bossy Business is, she came from greatness...now can she uphold her family's name by playin the "HELL" outta that fiddle? After years of classic violin, Bossy is trying something she really loves to play on her violin and she's coined it "Bluegrass-Pop", something that she hopes will catch on. It's a sound that moves the soul. Bossy hasn't made her mark yet, but she will, be it behind the scenes or within the scene itself, she will do it So keep your ears and hearts open for Bossy Business. May the universe and all its secrets bless you the way Bossy Business has been blessed! Read more: http://www.myspace.com/bossybusiness
