Brandon Clark was in high school when he simply decided to turn off the radio. Contrary to giving up music, he instead discovered an electric world of underground musicians who offered listeners something he had never heard -- genuine songs. The music sparked a new love and a new passion for music and Brandon quickly started writing songs of his own. Fast forward to January 2009, five years after Brandon turned off the radio and started playing guitar, writing songs and performing solo, Brandon decided he needed a band. Brandon enlisted three friends to create something new. Along with Chris Zeigler (bass), Paul Lynch (guitar), and Paul Hedges (drums), he formed the Atlanta-based Brandon Clark & The American Standard. The history of Brandon Clark & The American Standard wouldn't be complete without the testament to the power of community, especially a community of music lovers. With the help of the Kickstarter program, an online platform where fans can directly help artists fund their projects, they met their financial goal to record and produce an EP. The result is their new EP, Honestly, an impressive debut that P is for Panda picked up without any second thought.
