For her, Bridging The Gap has been a labor of love from the beginning.I'm the middle-aged guy in the picture. Together, my two sons and I make a really fun teenage garage band, meaning that when we jam, they're 17 and 18, and I'm 49-teen. I try to make a joyful noise on any available object. Although I prefer actual musical instruments, I will improvise when none are available; my primary instrument being a 1989 American Stratocaster that my wife bought me brand new as an early Christmas present when she was carrying our firstborn, the bass player.That's us, Bridging The Gap Gospel Band. I sing. My wife sings. Our daughter sings and does some other pretty amazing things, including sign language. Everyone in the family plays keyboards, but we hardly ever use it in our live performances. We're a little out of the ordinary. We do several genres, including blues, Southern Gospel, hymnal favorites, swing, R & B, Contemporary Worship, Praise Choruses, Rock, and even Rap.
