At eight years of age his free styling and writing attracted talent scouts while at fifteen studio’s where buzzing his persona on the microphone. Later he graduated to doing shows with Done Deal Entertainment, which included top acts such as, Alicia Keyes, 50 cents, Jadakiss, Neptunes, Kelis, Beanie Siegel, Currently Broadwaywesson has signed an independent deal with Ruff And Tuff Records as he climaxes through the charts, look out for him this summer with; The Best of Broadwaywesson, featured now on ITUNES, and Mother’s day which he plans to donate half of all his revenue to breast cancer research. So why doe he chooses the name Broadway Wesson you ask? He describes it as, “being from NY I needed a street that reflected my moves and my thoughts i.e., like Broadway my lights stay on; I’m always thinking. The second part of the name, Wesson, describes that Brooklyn kid, and since I have a strong personality like that of a Smith and Wesson, in Brooklyn it’s history to my G’s”. A strong rigid artist who also describes his music/art as being, “ reflective of my inner motifs, in essence, to address the pseudo belief society sees as true beauty, while the message is for the kids to separate and remain humane”, it’s a mission and it’s true art”. He managed to rise up above the common stigma or the common urban “thug mentality” as he has a B.A. from Temple University; “that accomplishment is me, but it truly reflects the accomplishment my mom struggled for before she died and my brother entailed the same consequent”.
