Their show is an extension of this desire (“Make it Possible”). They leave on stage all the power of pop punk in Spanish, and communicate beyond language with a show full of energy and adrenaline.
The theme of their songs turns around common themes like love, heartbreak, friendship and hope, in a 40 minute show with a basic rock band (two guitars, a bass and drums).
“8 Kilómetros” is a 10 year old band that bets on rock and tries to compete in the middle of many fusions and latin mixes, reminding the public that many of these new sounds emerged from rock.
Their independent work makes them proud about their achievements; they have one of the best performances from Rock Bands in social networks in Colombia and have been growing up with a successful tour in Brazil in 2012, their new launch for 2013 with the album "Make it Possible” and their showcase in SXSW, Austin Texas.

Su género ha estado muy ligado siempre al rock y en su búsqueda han estado muy cercanos al pop punk y a los nuevos sonidos del rock contemporáneo y de vanguardia.
8 Kilómetros se forma en el año 2002, con la intención de crear un sonido enérgico, único, alegre, fuerte y con letras las cuales la gente pueda identificarse. Hacen cuenta de esto sus más de 31.000 fans y los innumerables conciertos que han ofrecido.
En el año 2005, sacó al mercado su primer EP titulado: "No Me Quiero Despertar".
En el año 2009, graba su primer vídeo “Un, Dos, Tres,” vídeo que les aseguro un lugar en la escena bogotana, y les ayudo en la promoción de su trabajo.
En el año 2010, graba su segundo EP titulado: “El Problema No Eres Tú, Soy Yo”.
En este mismo año obtienen el reconocimiento de MTV a través del concurso: MTV - Chiclets Adams.
Para finales de 2011, 8 Kilómetros grabó y dio a conocer su segundo vídeo oficial para el sencillo titulado “No Finjas Más”
En el 2012 el vídeo entra a rotación actualmente en los canales MTV y Canal 13 y completa más de 177 mil vistas en su canal de YouTube. También realizo su primera gira internacional en Brasil tocando en varios festivales y varias ciudades de este país, esta gira da la apertura a su nuevo CD "Hazlo Posible". Del cual su segundo sencillo "Analgésicos" se estreno a finales de Noviembre; este año 2013 llegara su CD y preparan para Marzo su presentación en el SXSW en Austin, Texas.
Ha sido invitado a tocar al lado de bandas como MXPX, RUFIO, WAMBA, entre otras.
