Cecily began performing by posting cover songs and some originals to youtube, gaining more followers than she ever expected. One of the biggest thrills for Cecily in these early days was often seeing awards posted to her youtube page describing her as one of the most listened to Canadian artists on youtube. Cecily then heard of a contest that required you to send a youtube link of yourself singing. Round after round of live competition went by until Cecily found herself in the finals. A serious love for sharing music on stage was born through this experience. In the past year, Cecily has had many performance opportunities, including fairs, outdoor park parties, and a very exciting performance at the 2010 BCCMA award show.
