Celeritas is a 4 piece rock band from the Campbelltown – Camden area.
Jay Seeney: Lead Vocals and Guitar

The band has been together for over 3 years and are almost due to release their debut album. Celeritas play a wide variety of musical pieces and are very versatile. They play a mix of covers and originals. Their music ranges from hard rocking pieces such as: Glasshouse and Blood Pen, to laid back ballads like Amber, a love song about girl that he will never see again.
‘we try to encode hidden meaning within our lyrics’ Jay says, ‘we like to leave people thinking about them and what it means to them.’
Celeritas’ influences include Good Charlotte, Black Sabbath, Blink 182, Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Silverchair. The band plays covers from the likes of: Good Charlotte, Green Day, Blur, The Angels, Goldfinger and Wolfmother.
'Reflections', Celeritas' first single is a dynamic piece about a man that looks into a mirror and see a different person to who he used to be.
‘Crazy’, Celeritas’ second single is a punk rock piece describing a ‘knock out girl’. “My heart pounding/She was astounding/Dressed to kill/And sent to thrill/It’s no wonder/hit me like thunder/I want to please you/I just need you.
It is just one of the band’s catchy songs. Other songs include: Psycho, For The Children, Kamikaze Bugs, Road To Hell, Enter The Zone and Wicked Game.
Celeritas have combined with many local bands around the area including: Inflight Entertainment and Southdown.
Celeritas have a great live show where their music is powerful and dynamic and the stage show is enthusiastic and eye-catching.
Celeritas have played at many local venues and shows including: Campbelltown Show, NRMA Careflight Fundraiser and Appin Hotel.
