Born June 24,1988, Celly, a local Pittsburgh,PA rapper began to set his goals for being a great rapper at the young age of 8 years old. His older brother Mark whom he had always idolized had a major influence of his pursuit to becoming a rapper. Before Celly had ever thought about or wanted to be a rapper his first career goal was to become an artist and create video games, because his older brother used to draw and Celly would always try to be like him and would also draw. After his brother put the drawing aside, he had formed a rap group and began recording and performing songs. Although young Celly liked all of the tracks that he heard from his brothers group, he didnt think about becoming a rapper yet and was still persuing his dream of designing video games. A few years after in the year 1995 when Celly was about 7yrs. old Celly was with his cousin Tianna who was about 8yrs. old, was going home with his grandmother and grandfather when all of a sudden his cousin had decided to write a song with him about his grandfather...kind of a funny rap song. As they got to their grandparents house they had started to write the song. As Celly was writing the song, he had read it to his cousin. While reading it he had noticed that it was pretty good especially compared to what she had written. After that he had started to write more and more songs and was beginning to develop a skill for writing lyrics. A few months later he had met up with his friend Trent and had started to write songs with him and perform them in front of his family. As time went past Celly had wrote many songs and let his friends and family hear most of them, and with the positive feedback that he had recieved motivated and made him actually want to become a rapper. After several years had gone by and Celly was in the 10th grade he had met a boy in his English class named Kris who called himself Kris-Style and found out that he also rapped, and began to go to his house and collaborate and record tracks with each other. Not much longer after meeting him Celly had found out that his long time friend Brandon was rapping and was calling himself B-Genius. Kris-Style was telling Cell that he had his own label called O.I.K. Records and LG Ent. and at that same time Celly had thought up a name for his own label on the spot and called it "Thugztyle Records". A while later Celly and Kris-Style had became great friends and had formed a group together called "Tha Top2". And after that many new artists were doing collabs with Celly and signing to his label, artists such as: Ghetto Thug,A-Bizzy,Joey Snuff,Suspect,El'Don,Dizzy,LS,ManD,Ebony Diamond,Mysterious, and etc. After graduating from Woodland Hills High School Celly had made a main label for all of the record labels that he was doing music with and called it "Katastrophic Records". Next the squad had started searching for recording studios that didnt charge alot but had great quality, and had went to many studios but none of the studios were that great, until they went to a studio called "MindBender" and had recorded many tracks there making that their main studio. Celly has grown into the rapper that you see and hear today, with a style like no other and lyrics that can make you happy,fall in love,get crunk,think,shock you, etc. Now Celly is on his way to the top of the game and has the "412" holding him down, and soon enough the world will get to witness "The Best".
