Born out of coincidence and conceived out of frustration, ChainWax once
again Blazes their own trail on the over-trodden path of the local music scene.
After over a year break, ChainWax Returns to the stage REBORN.
Re-Inventing the same powerful and melodic vocals and hard-hitting
Drums, They return to the stage with an impressively fresh string section.
First off, Chainwax welcomes to the group"Heavey" (formerly of DysFunctional
Mariachi). There's no denying he is a musician’s musician. He wraps his Bass lines
decisively around the melody like an anaconda crushing the life out of his
prey. With an intense and heart pounding low end, and an eye for brutal
consistency, Heavey has more than earned his notch in this all star ensemble.
On the other side of the stage, ChainWax welcomes Chris Sampey
(formerly of Dead Mans Wake). Chris Sampey's guitar style is best
described as Riff after Riff of melodic progression, fused with torture
and decadence, laced with raw unbridled emotion.
His verses are heartfelt, his break-downs are hard hitting, and his
chorus’s soar over the audience blanketing them with emotion and
intrigue. These are only a few reasons why Chris is a well tuned addition
to the pack.
ChainWax is getting excellent early reviews & will further establish a
distinctive audience with excellent production and playing. With compelling
verses with some elaborate and unexpected touches, their "big riffs wrapped
around a powerful vocal & thumping rhythm section"
will undoubtingly bring them to the next level.
ChainWax is an outstanding slice of metal.
The new songs showcase perfectly just how the band has matured. The
guitars are thick, brutally melodic, and fast-----equalled only by the
empowering bass lines & monster drum sound!
