In a time when major label artists are flopping and the music industry's old business model is failing, a new generation of MC's is poised to pick up the pieces while striving for perfection. Leading that pack of MC's is M.A.G. M.A.G. is the personification of a true Hip Hop artist. His influences various from Heavy D, Naughty By Nature, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane to B.I.G., Nas, Jay-Z, The Lox and many more. Growing up on the streets of Grove Hall in Boston laid the foundation for what you hear in his music today. His MIC skills were crafted thru your “ Neighborhood corner raps and “Lunch cafeteria sessions”. He got his first shot at radio airtime on Boston's Hot 97 with LBD and Chubby Chub with the "Who Got The Props" battle competition; a title he held for more than a month. As the legend grew so did his shine. Featured on Boston's own "Best of the Bean Vol. 1" mixtape. Not only did that mixtape spot add another brick to an already growing Hip Hop foundation it let the MC know that people were starting to really take notice. Following up on those accolades M.A.G released his first mixtape called "My Point Of View" hosted by Peter Parker. He linked up with G-Unit producer Chad B for production. Together they crafted tracks that would become one of the streets most sought after underground releases. The constant grind continued with his sophomore mixtape release called "Got Juice". M.A.G collaborated with legendary Boston MC Edo. G as well as Legendary mixtape host Big Mike who's status in the mixtape world extends to artist like Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z to name a few... Now he's brought his raspy voice and word play filled delivery to the likes of J.Cardim. A monster producer who has produced for many artists; Red Cafe, Fabolous, Joe Buddens and Shawty Lo, are just a couple out of an impressive catalog. "Polos and Timbos" is a hard-hitting 808 with a catchy Biggie hook that has a radio but street savvy vibe to it. M.A.G. collaborates with Harlem native Jae Millz on this track, who is an artist under Lil Wayne’s Young Money label. To follow up with his classic "Got juice?"mixtape he than links up with DJ Envy of Desert Storm to put together Got Juice? part 2. With a brand new single out heavy in the clubs and video on MTV jams “Around the way” is sure to have A&R’s reaching out. What does the future hold for M.A.G? That's easy...he is the future.
