My name is Christian Porter and I am a singer/songwriter. I write and record all my music in my home studio. I write songs about my life dealing with love and bumps along the road. Life is hard and I try to keep up. I perform in many areas of bar/restaurant and coffee house atmospheres. I have written and recorded my first album of 8 original songs in my home studio, working hard long lonely hours perfecting it the best I could. The album is entitled "Christian Porter - One Reason" which has been released in June of 2008. As an accomplished performer, I have met endorsement deals with CASIO's PRIVIA line of keyboards and MARTIN Guitars. My main influence in music is John Mayer. Although, there are many more influences in my life which relates to my variety of music performing and song-writing. I received my first guitar in September of 2005 and after much practice of self-teaching, I have come to a surprising outcome of success. As well with playing piano, I have practiced and succeeded in all my up-to-date accomplishments as well as the endorsement with Casio Keyboards grows. Soon, I hope to become a major part of the music industry. Thanks to family, friends, and awesome fans, I'm still believing.
