I'm a small town doo from Radcliff, Kentucky. I'm the owna/CEO of my own label, ChillStreet Music, as well as a artist on the label. I've been workin on music since I was in eighth grade, but I ain't rap back then. I had a pretty decent singin voice back then. Me and a couple fellas tried to start a R&B group, which got me writin songs. The group ain't work out and as puberty came in, my singin voice went out. I continued to write songs anyway, hopin that someone would want to sing them fuh me one day. Afta graduatin high school I went to Cumberland College in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. One day one of my boys/classmates challenged me to write a rap. He stayed on me til I did it. I ain't gonna lie, that song sucked, but it got me started in the game and I've been writin raps, as well as R&B style songs, eva since. I started in the rap game at the same point I was in with my otha music: behind the scenes. I wasn't tryin to be in fronta the mic, but fortunately fuh me, fate pushed me in fronta it. In fronta the mic I started out just like I did wit the singin: wantin to be in a group. I tried that fuh years, but things just neva worked out. Finally a couple years ago I gave up on that notion and here I am. I have crashed and burned, but like the Phoenix, I have risen from the ashes. My style is simple: I'm a R&B doo who can't sing. I love and look up to the great rappas of yestaday and today: 2pac, Biggie, LL Cool J, Lil Wayne, Snoop, Eminem, etc, but that's not who I emulate. I love the ladies and love writin songs fuh/bout em, but my style is mo like Marvin Gaye than say Pretty Ricky. If I had to compare my style to a rappa, it'd be LL. He showed us all it's aight to be sensitive on the mic. Sometimes I write songs to express my feelins and sometimes I write to help someone else express theys, directly or indirectly. Sometimes it's bout things me or someone I know is/had been dealin wit and otha times it's just bout what I see. Sometimes I write bout things I have and otha times it's bout what I want. Bottom line tho, ery time I write, you see me.
