The undeniable Cola De was born and raised on the Westside of Germany. After her freshman year of high school at Mannheim American High, she moved to Detroit Michigan by herself at the age of 15. The undeniable Cola De was born and raised on the Westside of Germany. After her freshman year of high school at Mannheim American High, she moved to Detroit Michigan by herself at the age of 15. After graduating, Cola enrolled in Wayne State University’s fashion design program. During those two years she became a freelance model around the city, building a name and face for herself. Cola De has been featured in a variety of projects including a music video for Detroit’sown Black Lagoon shot by Al Profit. As well as countless boutique ads and magazines…gracing the pages of the Native Detroiter and the cover of WWS magazine in Los Angeles California. Not to mention a national book cover for Triple Crown Publications entitled China Doll. But one can only do so many fashion shows, photoshoots and interviews… In September 2009, at the age of 21, Cola sparked an interest in the business aspect of the beauty industry and registered her own lip gloss company, Lady Nvy. Two months later she began a radio concentration at Specs Howard School of Media Arts and currently interns for Detroit’s hot hip-hip station Hot 102.7fm. “The promotions department offers so many networking opportunities” she says. For the past year, Cola De has hosted and helped promote several of open mic showcases around Detroit. This is where she found her true calling as a femcee. With a natural talent for writing, she began investing her funds into her own studio equipment and arranging her own music, appearing in the Michigan Front Page paper “Who’s Hot in da Streets” column nine months into the game. Cola is currently working on a mixtape and continuing to showcase her skills throughout the city. By the looks and lyrics of it…she’s not stopping anytime soon. Urban, classy and universal is what Cola is and she will be heard.
