It was on March 14, 2008. Greg Fouch was just discovering MySpace, his wife had told him about it. They had just moved to the city a few months earlier. While checking out one of his friend requests, he discovers this "possible" friend has another friend with the same name as his deceased cousin Payton Slaughter, who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer in the final stages 12 years earlier. Upon checking out this page he finds out that his cousin is in fact alive and living two blocks away. After a fine reunion the two decided that this was indeed destiny calling. Payton had been a member of a prominent band. Following an unexpected turn of events he found himself without his music due to legal technicalities. Greg had been into music but never learned to play. But on that night of March 14 the two set down and played. They played, sang, drank, and realized it was for real. Destiny had brought them together after 12 years to bring their love of true metal/grunge to the people. In a time when glamour rock and karaoke metal was stuffed down peoples throats and television told you what you were supposed to listen to. Real heartfelt Metal and rock became a CRITICAL ADDICTION unto itself. Convinced this was more than a coincidences, the band was formed.
