I had someone who got me started gigging, so I pay it forward every week with my residency and try to get musicians that I'd like to hear that might not normally get exposure. Of course, I also bring many talented musicians, many whom have become good friends to the stage. I'm a bit of a vocal gymnast and don't really know what genre I'd be considered. If a song forms itself in my head, I flesh it out and it becomes whatever it is. Define it or not. I just wanna sing and write and play and that's my heaven.
