Like most artist I grew up singing in the church choir. From that point I was blessed to have a brothers that were equally blessed with vocal talent. My middle brother and his group were looking for a forth member and I took this as my opportunity to finally prove myself to one of my older brothers. He brought the other members to church one sunday and they instantly new that I was the last piece of the puzzle that would form the contemporary gospel powerhouse "Simply Real". Although I would give musical input as far as vocal arrangement, I felt almost useless because I couldn't contribute to the music or writing. I just didn't have it in me yet. After over ten years of performing over the midwest area with my Brothers and empty promises of success by many, it was clear that we needed a change. Instead of fighting through it we let the fire burn out. After years of not doing anything musically, and thanks to my boys D'anthony Forte for giving me the tools that I longed for, M. Smith for real input and positive inspiration, and I definitely cant forget A. Maez for rekindling that pure love for music, that fire is back and it burns brighter than ever before!
