About Danny FaJohn Sr
Danny FaJohn was the sixth of seven children born to Arden and Alberta FaJohn. He became serious about his music at a very early age and pursued songwriting at the age of elven. Danny was influenced by many of the great troubadours early on through his mother who always had Country music playing in the house. Some of his early influences were Hank Snow, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash just to name a few. By the age of eleven Danny and his best friend David Reid were a popular street corner duo playing acoustic versions of many standard country and bluegrass songs on the street corners, in front of the local markets and anywhere else they could be heard. By the age of 13 Danny was cutting his teeth on Southern Rock listen to bands such as 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Black Foot and Black Oak Arkansas and at the same time he was playing Bluegrass music. Soon it was apparent that Danny desired to write music and his Love affair with weaving words and melody's began. Danny's songs are influenced by real life situations that have moved his heart and he writes with a pure unadulterated traditional flair. In 2010 Danny moved to Buffalo MO where he resides now.
