D’Armando grew up on a tropical island in the Caribbean.This heart-shaped island is blessed with sunny skies, white beaches, turquoise waters and a multi cultural population with multi cultural music. D’Armando grew up on a tropical island in the Caribbean.This heart-shaped island is blessed with sunny skies, white beaches, turquoise waters and a multi cultural population with multi cultural music. His life is enriched with a broad diversity of music styles and rhythms.At the age of 13 he started his dancing career.He did several large shows, both theatre actions and streetdancing.In februari 1994, D’Armando emigrated to the Netherlands for his college education. During this period he restarted his semi-pro dancing career (Salsa, Merengue, African, Hiphop and street-jazz).In 1995 he started to produce, compose and write music.In march 1996 he formed the R&B / club band "Random Voicez". A recordcompany in Amsterdam contracted the group. Random Voicez toured with the dutch top40 music-tour throughout the Netherlands.In 1998 D’Armando graduated from college. By this time he’d choreographed for several dance groups and was involved in major music-, concert and drama events.In 2000 D’Armando founded the band and act “Croszade”. They performed all over the Netherlands.In 2002-03 D’Armando formed a R&B Gospel act. They recorded the album “Resolution”. The album was mastered by Michael Drexler for Sterling Sound, New York. Michael has done some work for Christina Aquilera, Gloria Gaynor and Usher. He was a senior staff recording and mastering engineer at RCA/BMG Studios and was also nominated for two Grammy’s during that time.In January 2005 D’Armando spent the holidays on his home island, where he again fell deeply in love with his musical roots (Tumba, Sehu, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Reggae).
