David Yellen Band started out in the spring of 2008 as just an idea. The band originated from the previous band "Faustus". After Faustus saw its end, singer David Yellen and guitarist Shaun Amos began writing music together. After Faustus saw its end, singer David Yellen and guitarist Shaun Amos began writing music together. The more and more their sound grew the more they realized they found something very unique and fresh and needed to find more members. Soon after that they found drummer, Rob Fletcher, guitarist Chuck Jones, bassist Luke Iabok, and trumpetist Jake Baldwin. Since then they have been playing local shows all over Minnesota trying to spread the inspiration that moved them to this music.
