About Dejected

Auburn , CA

Born August 19, 1988, in Antioch, California. My parents divorced when I was three. I grew up in a very chaotic family, with no mother only my big brother and father. My mother left us for ten years with out ever talking to us, and has been doing the same off and on now my whole life. My mother was very abusive to my brother and I, I had to deal with a lot of traumatic things when I was a child. We got kidnapped at one point by her, and she threatened to kill us, if we told my father, but I guess there was nothing I could do but stay happy. Since my father was the only one supporting us he worked a lot to get money, he has a bachelors degree at UC San Diego. It was still a struggle to make sure we weren't living in a trash can. He never had a easy route, he worked for his degree with scholarships and what I would like to call "Hard Work" He himself has had a extremely tough life, his fathered got shot in the head while camping but a drunk man, in a trailer. So I have always loved my father very much and made sure he knew everyday, along with my brother. I have been very expressive and passionate person since the day I was born. I have loved music since my childhood in a very deep way I can relate to everyday of life. My brother showed me the light on music from a young age, with him being older than me by six years. My brother Sean Andrew Stokes was hit by a I.E.D in July 2007. Since then I have absolutely devoted everyday of my life to playing guitar and singing. I have taken lessons and done very well in both. I am not conventional, I am very creative I make my own music and it represents who I am. I believe the world must wake up we are destroying everything, around us from animals, trees, people, ozone, and pretty much everything..we have a short time to fix this....I will use my chance at making music to inspire the world to be selfless. I am not afraid. The only thing that stops good from succeeding is good people do nothing, this will never be me. I love my family friends, and every human being that has good inside of them. Im not sure what to say I think this process really is more a chance of luck than anything, but I am always willing to put my full heart into anything, even a description of me that may never be read.
