Dirty Hollywood is the Moniker for Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist, record producer and recording artist Radley Lane. Falling in love with music after hearing James Brown's "the Funky Drummer" when he was 11. Radley starting playing drums shortly after and joined every music group available in the public school system and played in bands with every friend that had an instrument… Orchestra's, jazz bands, garage bands.. He kept studying music and earned a bachelor's degree in percussion and played in every performing group available which was nine most semesters… more orchestra, percussion ensembles, jazz bands, salsa bands, steel drum bands, Brazilian bateria's, West African dance troops, weird found object experimental music bands, reggae bands, college rock bands. After College, Radley played drums professionally for major label artists like Ryan Leslie, J*Davey, Terra Naomi etc. He even performed "Mellow Yellow" with Donovan at an impromptu performance in a small club in LA.    A lot of great music happened during this time, but it was never balls out rock and roll, and Radley had a god sized hole that could only be filled with distorted guitars and bashing drums. He just wanted to rock.   By this time He had already been deep into record producing. In college Radley had acquired a laptop and pro tools and watched youtube videos to learn how to produce and record. He constantly needed material feed his recording habit so Radley started singing and songwriting as well as playing guitar and bass… piano was already a school requirement so he had a little of that too. After a few years of writing and recording Radley found his sound and dubbed it Dirty Hollywood.   Dirty Hollywood has been featured on “Front of House” with Mike Dawson (The Adam Carolla Show) "Man vs. Radio" with Christian Hand (The Sound 100.3 LA). Dirty Hollywood has opened for bands like The Mowgli's, Alexa Melo, Open Hand, MRK, and had an early demo played as "Catch of the Day" on KROQ. Top musical influences include Arctic Monkeys, Muse, and Royal Blood.
