About Diane Arkenstone

Thousand Oaks, CA

Diane's album, 'Jewel in the Sun,' debuted at No. 16 on Billboard’s New Age charts when it was released in October 2002, peaking at number 11. In 2005, her album, The Best of Diane, went No. 1 on the New Age radio charts. In all, she’s worked on more than 45 albums, producing 28 under her own label, Neo Pacifica Recordings, and others under various pseudonyms such as 'Ah Nee Mah', 'Enaid', 'Earth Trybe', 'Marquis Ensemble', 'Middle Earth Orchestra' and 'Adventure Cargo', as well as composing music for the Olympics, television and film.

Diane’s music embraces many styles, from Celtic melodies and Native American rhythms, to World and techno beats and rock. She’s something of a musical jack-of-all-trades, playing not only the piano and guitar, but more unusual instruments such as the dulcimer, mandolin, wood flutes, metal drums and various percussion instruments.

Diane can also be found on iTunes PING. And look for her new World music album the first part of 2011!
