Ditchwater was founded by guitarist Mark Anderson in February of 1993 at the age of 17. A demo was released, very raw style showing the beginnings of something special.
In 2011 guitarist Mark Anderson and drummer Jason Angone resurrected the band with Mike Meadows returning on vocals along with the addition of new bassist Nathan Osterberger and new guitarist Ryan Dickinson. Many things have changed for Ditchwater over the course of eighteen years, but one thing remains...
The desire to compose heavy music that people can connect with. It was this desire that lead to the decision to bring back fan favorite Mike Meadows on vocals. Mike’s unique ability for writing lyrics that people can connect with mixed with his talent provides Ditchwater with one of the best frontmen in the midwest.
Ditchwater is currently touring in the Mid-West Region of the USA. Ditchwater is also gearing up to hit the studio and record their next full length album.
